Welcome

I am the author of six YA Urban Fantasy Novels that follow Natalie Johnson through the akward years of growing up to becoming a powerful leader who inspires all those around her. Through the course of these novels we will see a chunky young woman grow, fall in love, experience hardships, and find her place in the world as she struggles to bring peace and order to the town of Meadow's Creek.

Meadow's Creek

Is a fictional town in the Green Mountains and the majority of Natalie's adventures take place here. Meadow's Creek is inspired by Rutland, Vermont, a beautiful place to visit! So captivated by its people, its town, and scenery that when I began writing this series three years ago, I could think of nowhere better to have Natalie Johnson call home.

The Novels

Each novel, seven in total, is its own self contained story. While the threads from the previous stories become richer they do not need to be ready to fully be understood. They are part satire, making fun of such rich sterotypes such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mobster Movies, Werewolves, and more. The comedy helps offset the heavy subject matter and hard hitting family drama.

Works in Progress

A new set of novels is under development in a different Urban Fantasy world, which a gritter edge. Those novels are not part of the Meadow's Creek universe, but can be read more about by clicking here.
